Dr Egbe is a member of HELPS Global Association. As a scientist (biochemist), he has worked as a management consultant, executing change management and continuous improvement in business operations for a global chocolate company, Barry Callebaut. He has also worked with a global life science company, Thermofisher Scientific as Technical Application Specialist covering continental Europe. Here, he provided technical support to researchers performing Protein-related assays. He currently serves as a Technical Sales Specialist for Brooks Life Science, continuing to support pharmaceutical companies, contract research organisations, academia, hospitals, biobanks in accelerating the discovery of new medicines through provision of automated sample storage solutions. He graduated from University of Buea, Cameroon as top student with a first class in Biochemistry, and later obtained an MSc in Biotechnology as top student with Distinction and PhD in Molecular and Cancer Studies at the University of Manchester, sponsored on both occasions by the Commonwealth Scholarship and graduating as a President Doctorate Scholar. He is very enthusiastic about enabling people become the best version of themselves, a passion which stems from being a volunteer teacher during high school and university days.
